A price calculator on your website

Homeowners pick the job and see a starting price worked out the way you quote. Then they send you a request, and it lands in your inbox with everything they picked.

Most homeowners want a ballpark before they call. A calculator on your site gives them one, priced the way you actually quote, and then asks where to send the exact quote. You get a request from someone who already knows the price range.

What you get

Numbers that hold up on site

Every contractor prices differently: per foot or per section, minimum jobs, extra for slopes, rock or tear-out, gate hardware, haul-away. A generic calculator ignores all that, and the homeowner gets a number you then have to walk back.

I start from how you price. You send two or three recent quotes, I work out the rules behind them and build the calculator on those rules. The first version is checked against your quotes: if the calculator and your estimate disagree, I fix the calculator.

How it works

  1. You tell me what you sell and send your price sheet or a few recent quotes, and your logo. I look at your site and come back with the calculator, the price and the timeline.
  2. I build it in your colors and send you a private link. You try it and tell me what to change.
  3. We check the numbers against your real quotes until they match.
  4. I install it on your site. Requests go to your inbox from day one, and you get the code.

You pay once: no subscription, and the code is yours. The calculator keeps working even if we stop working together. After launch, a month of fixes is free. Larger projects are paid in stages, not all up front.

Try the demos

Each demo shows the calculator the way it would sit on a contractor's site. The prices in them are samples.

Who builds it

Roman Fink

I'm Roman Fink. I have built calculators and estimating tools since 2014: more than 30 for clients, and the 48 free calculators on Delimetra. There is no sales team: you write to me, and I build and install the calculator myself. If a simpler and cheaper option does the job, I will tell you. More about me and examples of my work.

Questions

Is it a ready-made widget?

No. I adapt the calculator to your products, options and pricing rules, and build it from scratch when your work does not fit a standard one. It is checked against your real quotes before it goes live.

Do I need to know anything about websites?

No. I build the calculator into your site myself, on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Duda, GoDaddy or any other platform, so it looks like part of the page.

Is there a monthly fee?

No. You pay once, the code is yours, and the calculator keeps working even if we stop working together.

What if my prices change?

Prices sit in a settings panel or a simple file, so you can change them yourself without a programmer. Or send me the new price sheet.

Will homeowners see Delimetra?

No. The calculator carries your name, logo and colors. There are no Delimetra links or mentions on your site.

Where do the requests go?

To your email, with the homeowner's contact details and everything they picked in the calculator. They can also go to Jobber or your CRM.

What if something breaks after launch?

The first month of fixes after launch is free.
