The name comes from two Latin words: delineare, to draw, and metrum, measure. That is what the site does — it measures and draws.
Who makes it
Delimetra is made by Roman Fink, an engineer who develops calculators and estimating tools for construction companies. Every calculator is written from the formula up: the calculation is a separate, tested module, and the numbers in each article are checked against it.
What makes the calculators different
- The formula and a worked example are on the page, not hidden behind the result.
- Code limits are checked and cited by section, so you can look them up.
- Each result comes with a drawing of what you entered, and most calculators export a PDF.
- Feet, inches and fractions work the way they are written on a tape measure.
Independence
Delimetra has no advertising and no affiliate links. Calculators do not recommend brands or stores.
